This fragrance is fresh and slightly aquatic, opening with spices of pepper and cardamom along with lemon. Sandalwood and vanilla give the fragrance a slightly creamy scent profile while the ambergris makes the fragrance feel slightly aquatic.

Eight & Bob was founded on a perfume created by the French perfume connoisseur, Albert Fouquet, for his personal use in the 1930s. The name Eight & Bob was inspired by a chance meeting with young John F Kennedy who was touring France and upon his return to America requested for eight bottles of perfumes plus one more for his brother Bob. The last shipment of the perfume to USA were hidden in a hollowed out book. Eight & Bob was eventually launched in 2012 and one of the main notes of Eight & Bob is secret plant nicknamed "Andrea" from Chile.
