Frapin as a brand is better associated with its award winning cognacs than its niche perfumes. In 2002, Beatrice Cointreau, the great grand-daughter to one of the most prominent patriarch Pierre Frappin, created a small quantity of is first perfume and named it 1270, the year the cognac house was founded. Frapin subsequently decided to create and launch a range of perfumes inspired by their association with cognac, their staple business for over 20 generations.
