Rose Barbare by Guerlain is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women and men, is devoted to rose – intensive, intoxicating, and passionate wild Ottoman Rose. The composition includes aldehydes and rose on the pad of sharp-sweet notes (‘honey chypre’). The beauty of rose is accentuated by spicy grass notes and elegant thin base accord. Rose Barbare is an endless sea of roses with heavy velvety petals.
This perfume was created by Francis Kurkdjian, one of the three noses who were commissioned by Guerlain to create an exclusive line for the opening of its renovated main boutique La Maison Guerlain (The House of Guerlain) at 68 Avenue des Champs-Elysées, Paris.
This exclusive collection, launched in 2005, is called L 'Art et la Matière (The Art and (raw) Material, a pun after the French expression L'Art et la Manière – the art and manners. We are decanting from the older formulation bottle, where the perfume is perceived to be a stronger, warm spicy rose which is less aldehydic.

The customer will receive the original product hand decanted using medical-grade instrument into our brand new 8ml glass spray bottle so that the customer can enjoy Guerlain Rose Barbare from an affordable decant. The customer will not receive the original manufacturer's bottle or packaging but will receive our specially commissioned bottle professionally labelled with the product decanted.
