25 April 2024 was a memorable evening with the creative forces behind the niche Italian brand Tiziana Terenzi: Tiziana and Paolo Terenzi..
The event, organized by Amaris Beauty Singapore, treated us (the attendees) to a delightful time with the dynamic Terenzi brother and sister duo who gave us an insight into their rich perfumery heritage in Italy. They are evidently much influenced by their stylish grandfather, Gulielmo Terenzi who founded Cereria Terenzi, which originally produced only scented candles. Today, the fragrances created by the third generation are marketed under three brands: Tiziana Terenzi, Canto by Terenzi and Giardio Benessere.
As Tiziana and Paolo told us about the inspiration behind several of their perfumes, we could feel their joy and passion in their creation of exquisite perfumes and the design of beautiful bottles.
Tiziana Terenzi's most successful perfume is Kirke, a gourmand extrait de parfum created by Paolo in 2015 for men and women. Its unique blend of fruity notes, floral scent, combined with vanilla, sandalwood, heliotrope, and patchouli makes it a classic favourite through the years.
Paolo and Tiziana are creative and encourage wearers of their perfumes to experiment with their versatile fragrances. They demonstrated how the layering of Andromeda, Mirach and Sirrah from their Terenzi Constellation collection can bring forth a unique complex fragrance. On its own, Andromeda is a floral amber feminine-leaning fragrance, but when layered with Mirach and Sirrah, the combined scent is a rich, smooth, and sophisticated multi-tiered olfactory sensation.
Paolo and Tiziana were warm and friendly throughout the evening and invited attendees to sample a generous selection of perfumes under their three brands. They were genuinely happy to autograph perfume bottles and were playful when taking photographs with everyone.
Our new scent memory of Tiziana Terenzi perfumes, in addition to each of their unique scents, are the warm smiles, the passion and the joy which Tiziana and Paulo Tiziana conveyed this pleasurable evening.
