Costa Azzurra, part of Tom Ford's Private Blend collection is a very interesting marine fragrance, with the dominant notes of driftwood and seaweed. The fragrance opens with a mix of lavender, yellow mandarin and juniper. It then dries down to a salty marine accord created by driftwood and seaweed. The driftwood accord in this fragrance really helps capture the aspect of the sea many marine fragrances miss out. This perfume is has been very popular but has been discontinued to be relaunched in the lighter signature line.
