Jean-Paul Gaultier is a French writer and fashion designer who founded his fashion label in 1982. The Gaultier House launched its first perfume in 1993, Classique, a women's floral oriental scent which was followed by Le Male for men two years later. Gaultier fragrances are produced under a long term license by Beaute Prestige International.
