Oltremare (meaning overseas) by Bois 1920 is a sweet floral aquatic fragrance that conjures images of "the sea breeze" and "the smell of waves". The fragrance opens with a citrusy tea accord that develops into a crispness provided by juniper, geranium and rhubarb. It then dries to a smooth, sweet, floral aquatic hyacinth accord. Oltremare's aquatic notes are less "oceanic", less the cool briny mineral ocean and more like the fresh water lake scent that is clean and green.

Bois 1920 is a niche perfumery that had its beginnings in 1920 when the grandfather Guido Galardi started experimenting the first formulas in his tiny workshop in Florence with the “Spigo” (lavender flowers) which ripens on the Florentine hills. In 2005, Enzo, the grandson of Galardi revived the family passion for making perfumes through the brand Bottega Italiana Spigo1920 (BOIS 1920), which was recognised as among the best five olfactory expressions at the 2012 FiFi Awards (the Oscars of perfumery) in New York.

This decant is not a licensed product of the fragrance design house. The customer will receive the original product hand decanted using medical-grade instrument into our brand new 8ml glass spray bottle so that the customer can enjoy Bois 1920 Oltremare from an affordable decant. The customer will not receive the original manufacturer's bottle or packaging but will receive our specially commissioned bottle professionally labelled with the product decanted.
