Delina Exclusif is often compared to the original Delina. In Delina Exclusif, the rhubarb note which gives the original Delina a slightly green and sour opening but helps to neutralise the initial sweetness, is missing in Delina Exclusif. The opening of Delina Exclusif is dominated by lychee and pear, with the rose and vanilla following close behind. The dry down settles on a soft bed of incense, amber and woody notes. In Delina Exclusif, the rose, incense and woody notes are amplified and well blended, and together with the absence of the slightly tart rhubard, gives the fragrance a softer and creamier texture.
Interestingly, Delina Exclusif is less sweet than the original but both fragrances have good performance, projection and sillage. While the original Delina may be regarded as more casual and care free, Delina Exclusif might be better suited for special events and the evenings.
