Eight & Bob was founded on a perfume created by the French perfume connoisseur, Albert Fouquet, for his personal use in the 1930s. The name Eight & Bob was inspired by a chance meeting with young John F Kennedy who was touring France and upon his return to America requested for eight bottles of perfumes plus one more for his brother Bob. The passing of Albert in a car accident in 1939 and the start of WWII delayed the progress of the brand for a few decades. Eight & Bob was eventually launched in 2012 and one of the main notes of Eight & Bob is secret plant nicknamed "Andrea" from Chile.
